Our history.
Siliciumbearbeitung Andrea Holm GmbH was founded in 1987 by Dr. Claus and Andrea Holm.
Claus Holm had been interested in silicon since his student days, which he continued after his doctorate at the University of Munich at Wacker, a world market leader in the production of silicon.
In 1987 the decision was made to found Siliciumbearbeitung Andrea Holm, which from the beginning focused on the mechanical and chemical processing of silicon, quartz and ceramics. This goal was also pursued and optimized by the entry of the two sons Hans and Florian Holm and has made the Holm group of companies a significant supplier to the Semiconductor and Optical industries.
